Dr. Danielle Bundrent is the Executive Director for ASPIRE Day School for the Louisville East location, and the Medical Director for Kentucky Statewide. With over fourteen years of leadership and advanced practice experience, she is a dedicated Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Bundrent began her collegiate career at Fisk University, Nashville, TN where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts, in English Literature. She went on to earn her Bachelor Science of Nursing from Spalding University, Louisville, KY in 2009, and Her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Kentucky in 2016. Her passion for treating her patients holistically led her to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Post Doctoral certification from the University of Cincinnati, in 2022.
Dr. Bundrent’s professional motto is “To ensure best practice outcomes you must treat the patient medically and emotionally while incorporating the patient’s family and cultural considerations.”
She enjoys spending time with her family and watching football and Formula One racing in her spare time.

Jenifer Brown

Jenifer is a certified elementary school teacher with an MAT from Bellarmine University and a Rank One Certification from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been an educator for 15 years and has experience in all things education including intervention, art, and special education. She is passionate about teaching and the fact that every child can learn if their individual needs are met.
Jenifer is the mother of three amazing adult children and the Grammy to two beautiful grandbabies. Jenifer enjoys spending her free time on her farm with her husband, horses, dogs, and goat. Jenifer is extremely passionate about animal rescue and welfare and owns a small business donating all proceeds to animal rescue.

Mackenzie Whaley

Mackenzie is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate specializing in children, trauma, and couples therapy. Ms. Whaley has been a therapist in the field of education for the entirety of her 4-year career. She is a passionate for the fact that every child deserves unconditional positive regard.
In the classroom, and in the therapy office, Ms. Whalley aims to teach her clients the importance of the following words from Ms. Mya Angelou: "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style."
